The multi-purpose knitted hood not only warms the ears but also the neck and nape.

Knit your new favorite headwear, the light and soft Sammalia knit hood.

Sammalia knitted hood is the winner of the Ikimetsä knitting competition and an absolute crowd favorite.

The hood is a light fluffy and warm headgear that, when lowered, acts as a collar. It also fits under the hood of a jacket or, for example, a bicycle helmet.

The hood finished with rolled edges is knitted seamlessly first in the round, then flat and finally from the top of the sock to the heel of the sock using a familiar technique. With the same instructions, you can knit a hood for yourself and your child.

Bonus! Knitting pattern also for Sammalia panna. You can use the entire skein by knitting a plush collar from the remaining yarn. You can use it alone or under the Sammalia hood, where it provides additional warmth and windproofness in colder weather. Panna's model knit repeats the plush shape and functionality of the hood's rolled edges
