What others have knitted from our yarns
I knitted a sweater from Ruukki spinning mill's 100% loop alpaca yarn, which has become my favorite sweater!
I also wrote instructions for it, which can be found for free on the Kaksosflikat blog. I am the other half of the Kaksosflikat ensemble, and we have had a Knitting Year 2022 project, which this sweater was also a part of. We have designed one guide for each month of the year.
This is a shawl knitted from off-white alpaca wool loop yarn with black crocheted fringes. Four skeins of yarn, 335 m each, have been used for the shawl. There were 160 stitches, but less would have been enough.
I knitted the vest from jogging alpaca using the pattern I designed. With a double thread, the surface becomes wonderfully tight and warm 🥰.
The instructions can be found on Ravelry in the Slow Knits by Elina store and my other knittings on IG @slowknitsbyelina.
Babies are being born nearby, so woolen pants are coming off the needles. One has already gone to a new home and the others are being worked on.
The thread is dark gray loop thread. Lovely fluffy pants will come. And it's easy to knit, elastic knit and always right.
A lovely sweater with a V-neck was born from jogging alpaca. Such a lovely yarn!
Now it's finished - finally. I dismantled the previous work in progress and thought about what to do. Then I remembered Niina's book and fell in love with the Kaiho model. After the model reading, I guessed the size, it turned out to be a bit big, but lovely on it.
The pattern was knitted 'top down' as one knit. When the last sleeve was finished, I could put on a new sweater right after the conclusion 😉🙏. Did you use 250g of yarn?
