Ruukkin Kehräämö - Finland's only spinning mill that processes alpaca wool cleanly

Today we look a little into the past and return to the early days of Sin and Leena's company. Did you know how our story began?

At first, the wool of Sini's alpacas was taken to England to be spun, because the Finnish spinning mills were unable to spin the fine alpaca fiber at a level that meets our quality standards. Sini and Leena founded Ruukkin Kehräämö in 2012, but the delay in the arrival of the spinning machines delayed the start of work until 2014. Today, Ruukkin Kehräämö's alpaca products are known all over Finland for their fine quality fiber.
