The yarn is Ruukkin Kehräämö alpaca/wild silk yarn, needle 4, finished knit 340g. Knitted with Jonna Hietala's Ystävä pattern.
Alpaca/wild silk scarf from single strand yarn. 100g of yarn was used.
I tried knitting a sweater with two yarns. I used alpaca silk yarn and suri alpaca. A warm sweater was born that was just right for the Northern Norway trip and other trips to come.
Thank you, Leena Rajala, for the incredibly expert yarn count guidance! Leena recommended buying two skeins and assured them that they would be enough. There was a little bit of yarn left. About 250g of silk alpaca was used.
My friend ordered a sweater, but said she would bring her own yarn. I got Ruukki Kehräämö's coffee-colored yarn 6x100g and the wish to make a Viking sweater from Lasse L. Matberg's book.
It was a real pleasure to knit a wonderfully soft and slightly greasy yarn. Often the hands are really dry after knitting for a long time, some yarns are clearly rough. This was my first alpaca sweater, and I would love to continue using it.
The beanie had to be made again and the customer got one batch back. So also plenty, and warm.
From the alpaca yarn I bought at Ruukki's spinning mill, I knitted a wonderfully soft short-sleeved sweater for the cooler moments of summer.
The scarf made as a side job is finally ready. 100% alpaca, really nice knitting yarn. It's really lovely to wear 🥰 and it's warm.
A cardigan made of alpaca-wild silk yarn for a toddler.
Sweetly soft wool and beautiful natural colors from alpaca!
It's nice to find a thread made of natural material that doesn't itch even directly against the skin.
It was lucky that I found you at the Tampere handicraft fair! I'm looking for something wonderful, high-quality, preferably domestic yarn for a wonderful homemade sweater - thanks to you, now I have a dreamy sweater ready, and it doesn't even itch the atopic's skin ❤️🙏🏻
Both your ready-made clothes and the clothes and accessories I knit from the yarn are my favorites and are constantly in use.
You can't get such wonderful yarns anywhere else.
